On the contrary Etnà absorbs the humidity from the base of the paste, cooking it evenly and making it crispy like with firebricks placed at the base of pizzeria ovens!
Etnà is a platter, created by lava flows of Etna, the still active largest Italian volcano located in the island of Sicily.
It is 100% natural and food safe. It does not produce smoke even cooking particularly fatty foods. It is a natural non-stick surface, so it is not necessary to use any oil or butter for cooking on it.
It can also be used for grilling any kind of meat, fish or vegetable.
