ACRYLIC, also called polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), is a transparent thermoplastic.

This material is much more than a mere plastic. It is used as a substitute for glass, given that the acrylic’s resistance is much greater.

It can be given a variety of finishes (sanding, polishing and milling) and different shapes.

• Weather resistant: no significant changes in its properties following prolonged exposure to weather conditions

• Hardness: Similar to non-ferrous metals such as copper
• Mechanical resistance: 6 times stronger than glass
