MAWA - Made in Germany stands for an original that can look back on a long tradition since 1948.

The brand is characterised by a pioneering and inventive spirit that has constantly evolved over the years, yet has always remained true to tradition. We manufacture with passion in the Bavarian town of Pfaffenhofen, which can look back on a down-to-earth history.

In addition to tradition, Made in Germany also stands for our outstanding quality. MAWA clothes hangers have proven themselves over the decades and we have always developed pioneering and innovative concepts with our customers worldwide.

PIONEERING, COMMITTED AND PROVEN

A clothes hanger does fantastic things: it creates order, it protects and cares for clothes, it preserves valuable and cherished items, it creates brand experiences and incentives to buy and does much, much more. Despite this, it is often seen as nothing more than a banal commodity. Our vision is that clothes hangers will be valued differently in the future, be it

Brand of the century

Studio ZX of the ZEIT publishing group has been honouring Germany's outstanding companies for years with the ‘German Standards’ initiative. One special feature: you cannot apply for this award, but are selected by a jury of experts - and there is only one winner per sector. MAWA has already been named ‘Brand of the Century’ several times and will receive this prestigious award again in 2025.

In close dialogue with our customers and partners, we develop new concepts with great attention to detail, passion and quality assurance. In doing so, we take into account the cultural differences that lead to very different uses of clothes hangers, not least different preferences for colours.

MAWA is where sustainability is considered holistically. MAWA founded the ECO friendly initiative many years ago.

With ECO friendly, we are demonstrating our commitment to greater sustainability and environmental protection in the production process and in the use of materials. MAWA is thus committed to the goals of the United Nations Agenda 2030 towards a change in favour of ecological, low-emission and environmentally friendly production in order to provide a livelihood for future generations.
