Kawai Co., Ltd. is manufacturer and wholesaler of various kinds of chopsticks and cutlery. We are based in Obama city, Japan since 1943. Obama city is well known production area for chopsticks, and it has over 80% of share of chopsticks manufacture in Japan. We follow 400-year tradition and techniques of chopsticks manufacture in Wakasa region, where Obama city is located. We also apply modern technologies to generate new values of chopsticks. By keep exploring new textiles and designs of chopsticks, we try to accomplish our goal which is to deliver best chopsticks to every single person.
