Description

Klatt Objects promotes the joy of ever new floral arrangements and creative decorations with small, fine bestsellers. The focus is on small vases and hanging vases that offer a high degree of design freedom. The series are deliberately coordinated so that they harmonise in colour and shape and stimulate a passion for collecting.

ERWIN - Easter joy from the manufactory

Iconic shape, each one unique. As a special Easter surprise, the ERWIN series comes in beautiful new colours and designs. The striking patterns in natural shades ranging from dark brown to sand and pastel blue are traditionally handcrafted. No two eggs are the same. Hanging, laid or draped in a nest, ERWIN stylishly sets the scene for small early bloomers and harmonises perfectly with popular Klatt Objects series such as OVO or CHISANA. ERWIN is available in three sizes for laying and hanging. (Image left)

CHISANA - multi-faceted through the year

Delicate spring greetings between heaven and earth. Klatt Objects is adding four natural colours to its successful CHISANA series. The new palette ranges from taupe and tannin to pastel blue and a light stone grey. Previously, the hand-flattering mini vases were available in rosé and black as well as in the typical pure white of the high-quality bone china from which the vases are handmade. Whether as a soloist or in an arrangement, whether lily of the valley or winter jasmine: with its three shapes and the new colour variants, CHISANA offers a multifaceted range that can be used to creatively showcase the course of the year. CHISANA comes in three sizes (S: 6 x 4 cm / M: 5 x 5 cm / L: 4 x 6 cm). (centre image)

FESTA from the heart

Free-floating and elegant: the FESTA hanging vases have been absolute favourites in the Klatt Objects collection since day one. In response to popular demand, Detlef Klatt, designer and founder of the boutique brand, has now added two long-awaited models to his best-selling series: from this year, the FESTA hanging vases are available in large and small heart shapes, which will not only bring joy to lovers. The special highlight: the narrow openings of the hanging vasesensure that the delicate flowers are held securely in place; without a filling, they act as sophisticated design elements. The new FESTA hearts are available in two sizes, S (8 x 8 cm) and L (12 x 12 cm). (Pictures on the right)

Vase Rhizom

Klatt Objects collectibles are characterised by the unmistakable design signature of their founder Detlef Klatt. This is particularly true of the Rhizom vase, which won the German Design Award and which the creator has expanded into an attractive series.

The Rhizom vase

Symbolising strength and new life. The botanical appearance of the rhizome inspired Detlef Klatt to create a vase with an unusual shape. In 2024, the handcrafted object was honoured with the German Design Award as "Winner" in the category - Excellent Product Design - Home Textiles and Home Accessories. The vase was designed back in 2019 and unveiled for the brand debut in 2020. It was ahead of its time. In 2024, Detlef Klatt developed two offshoots that continued the idea of the original design and further expanded the design freedom of the series.

The idea of the rhizome

In nature, plants such as bamboo, lily of the valley, ginger er, lotus or wasabi use their rhizomes as nutrient reservoirs and the source of new shoots. Detlef Klatt has translated this concept into a concise, organic shape, whose freely rising openings constantly allow for new flower arrangements. The balanced dimensions ensure that even delicate flowers, grasses and stems are held securely. At the same time, the sculptural character of the collector's item dissolves the link between design and function and makes it a unique eye-catcher regardless of its use as a vase.

High-quality fine bone china

The vase's high-quality bone china is produced in the traditional way by family-run manufacturers who use the ashes of bones from the food industry according to the original recipe. The artisanal and resource-conserving production process gives the pure white porcelain, for which the Klatt Objects brand is known, its unmistakable strength and clarity.

Arts and crafts in porcelain

Treasures, handmade from pure white gold: Klatt Objects' vases, vessels and bowls are produced in small, family-run manufactories using traditional methods that require skill and experience. Depending on the design, the structure, pattern or finish is created or worked on by hand. This creates coherent series in which each piece is unique and cannot be confused with any other. The Fine Bone China produced according to a traditional recipe is characterised by its particular hardness and radiant brilliance.

ARTA - Mediterranean originality

The characteristic Mediterranean flair of the town of Artà in the north of Mallorca has inspired Detlef Klatt to create a completely new series. Translated into three shapes, clear silhouettes meet original patterns, which are worked into the matt polished surfaces in a traditional way. The handmade ARTA series will be launched in pure white bone china, creating an interesting tension between the deliberately "imperfect" surfaces and the special radiance of the high-quality material. The elements are between 17 cm and 29 cm high. (picture 1)

GAZE - Unique handicrafts - Coming summer 2025

A finely openworked structure, delicate, translucent and yet strong. The new Klatt Objects GAZE series combines craftsmanship with a clear, unadorned shape to create a contemporary, iconic design. The net-like structure is created in a complex process in which liquid bone china is sprayed onto a specially developed mould in a precisely calculated rhythm. Each piece is individually handcrafted and is unique. "The process requires a high level of craftsmanship, which is why I only work with the best in their field for this series," says Detlef Klatt. The GAZE series is available as a vessel and vase in various sizes. (Image 2)

FLORA heralds the start of the flowering season

Launch of the new FLORA series: Inspired by the magnificent appearance of the hydrangea, the designer has created an elaborate surface design in which he transfers the delicate petals of the Asian ornamental shrub into pure white porcelain. In Japanese culture, the hydrangea is a symbol of constant change due to its play of colours. Klatt's hydrangea, on the other hand, proves to be wonderfully versatile thanks to its multifunctional design. It also impresses with a lovely detail: the popular birds from the Klatt Objects collection find a particularly good foothold on its delicately crafted edge, heralding the arrival of spring. Objects with character

Anything but ordinary: the handcrafted objects from the Klatt Objects collection make clear statements about individuality and character.

ROBOTER and ROBODOG

Watchful eyes, pricked ears and always there when you need him. The new collector's item ROBODOG, created by Detlef Klatt, is a declaration of love from the designer to the stray dogs that are a common sight on many streets and beaches in the Philippines. Klatt Objects has now given them a loving home: in the life-size wooden version, ROBODOG prefers to position himself in places where he can vigilantly take centre stage. The collector's item is based on the ROBOTER series from Klatt Objects: Each piece is hand-carved and assembled from driftwood. This means that no two ROBOs are the same. The dog is around 52 cm high. As a table centrepiece or small stool, he is also happy to use his back (30 cm high) as a tray. (Picture: left and 2nd from left)

Elke Hering and Peter Barsch

The herring lady Elke successfully swam ahead, followed by Peter Perch. The handcrafted wall vases made of high-quality bone china are closely modelled in shape and size on their living originals. A particular eye-catcher is the couple's intricately handcrafted scales. As is typical of the Klatt Objects brand, Elke and Peter also prove to be true all-rounders: when laid out, the collector's items become creative home or table accessories, while on the wall they show off their skills as attractive decorative objects and perfectly balanced vases. Busts ELEONORE OF ARAGON and UOMO MISTERIOSO

The merciless ruler and the mysterious man: with two objects, the Klatt Objects brand is expanding its range of busts in an exciting way. In contrast to the previous hand-carved wooden busts, the models for these heads are created using a state-of-the-art 3D scanning and printing process that is used by major exhibition centres and others. Deceptively real copies of the historical or museum originals are produced, for example for loans. In the joint pilot project with Klatt Objects, Italian artist Massimo Di Pirro used the two busts from his studio as models for the porcelain objects, which are then moulded and handcrafted in the traditional way.
