The design of these knives deliberately dispenses with the so-called "bolster", the thickening between the blade and the handle, which for a long time was considered a typical feature of forged knives. The seamless transition from the handle to the blade of the SYNCHROS knives creates a completely new haptic and functional experience - an innovation of the knife manufacturer GÜDE.

DAMASCUS STEEL KNIVES

In "wild Damascus", over 300 layers of a tough and elastic and a hard steel are forged manually in a process lasting up to 2 days to create a blade of the highest perfection and visual delight. After a further 50 manual operations, it becomes a hand-forged Damascus steel unique specimen. The knives are of course not dishwasher safe and not stainless. The handle material of the damask knives in the Alpha series is extremely hard desert ironwood that is up to 1,500 years old. The handle of the damask version of THE KNIFE. is made of grenadilla wood.

The handle scales of the series Alpha Olive are made of selected olive wood that is up to 500 years old. The wood of the olive is very hard and weatherproof.
