25 Years of Ambiente Talents at the Museum Angewandte Kunst
To mark the 25th anniversary of the Talents programme, Ambiente, in cooperation with the Museum Angewandte Kunst (MAK), is presenting the special exhibition "Ambiente: 25 Years of Talents – Local Perspectives" from 1 to 13 September 2026.
As part of World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, ten former Ambiente Talents from the Rhine-Main region will showcase selected works alongside their personal perspectives on the guiding theme "Design for Democracy – Atmosphere for a Better Life". The exhibition highlights the designers' creative development and underscores the importance of the Talents programme as a launchpad for international design careers.

The Talents at Ambiente 2026 inspired and challenged with unfiltered perspectives – and plenty of courage. Last year, 28 international participants of the Talents support programme presented their designs to a large professional audience of exhibitors, visitors and media representatives.

25 Years of Talents – Anniversary Edition
In 2026, the Talents support programme at Ambiente will celebrate its 25th anniversary. To mark the occasion, a curated special exhibition will be presented in Hall 3.1. The exhibition will showcase works by a total of 25 international designers: 15 former Talents and 10 new participants. This product exhibition brings together both emerging and established designers whose creations offer forward-thinking responses to today’s most pressing questions – setting new impulses, then and now.
