Declaration of Consent for Photo, Audio and Video Recordings as well as Event-Related Content

Declarations regarding Submitted Content

Where I provide or upload documents, products or other content, I represent and warrant that:

• I hold all necessary usage, copyright, trademark, design and other intellectual property rights, as well as any required personality or publicity rights, or am otherwise authorised to grant the rights of use described below;
• any required consents, licences or registrations (including GEMA or other collecting society rights, where applicable) have been obtained or will be obtained by me;
• the use, processing, exhibition, presentation and publication of the submitted documents, products or other content will not infringe any third-party rights;
• the submitted or uploaded files do not contain viruses, malware, malicious code or other harmful technical components that may impair or compromise the systems, data or applications of Messe Frankfurt or third parties.

Should I subsequently become aware of any circumstances preventing the intended use of the submitted content as described below, I shall notify Messe Frankfurt without undue delay.

I shall indemnify Messe Frankfurt against any third-party claims, including reasonable legal defence costs, arising from the intended use of the documents, products or other content submitted or uploaded by me, to the extent such claims are based on conflicting third-party rights.

Information on the Intended Use

Photo, audio and video recordings as well as submitted documents, products (including any trademarks or logos displayed thereon) and other content may be used in connection with the International Consumger Goods Shows Ambiente/Christmasworld/Creativeworld in Frankfurt/Main.

Such use may include, in particular:

• the implementation, documentation and follow-up of the events and projects;
• editorial reporting;
• commercial and non-commercial marketing, advertising and press purposes;
• the promotion of the event, the project or comparable events and services of Messe Frankfurt.

The use may include publication on:

• event and corporate websites;
• digital event platforms;
• Messe Frankfurt media and content platforms (e.g. Conzoom Solutions);
• social media channels;
• newsletters;
• apps;
• livestreams;
• on-demand services;
• printed publications;
• press publications;

Where applicable, photo, audio and video recordings as well as submitted documents, products or other content may be reproduced, distributed, made publicly available, archived, edited, shortened, subtitled, translated, technically adapted and combined with other content.

The use may include my name, position, company name and the title or designation of my contribution, product or project.

The content, as well as any photo, audio and video recordings created thereof, may be transferred to companies affiliated with Messe Frankfurt within the meaning of Section 15 German Stock Corporation Act (AktG) and to contractually engaged service providers and may be used, processed and published by them for the purposes described above.

The rights are granted free of charge.

Messe Frankfurt Exhibtion GmbH processes the data you provide here, as well as the photos and other documents you send us, in order to prepare and advertise your presentation activities for us. The legal basis is point (b) of Article 6 (1) GDPR. We also process your data in accordance with the above declaration of consent. With your consent, we will save the data you provide here so that we may be able to contact you for further presentation activities. Your CV will be erasured after three years at the latest. The legal basis is point (a) of Article 6 (1) GDPR.

Only those recipients that have a compelling need to access your data in accordance with the above-mentioned purposes will be granted access to it. Data will not be transferred to third countries. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling for the listed processing purposes.

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your data are being processed, (Art. 15 GDPR); correction of data (Art. 16), erasure of date (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), as well as data portability (Art. 20). In accordance with Art. 7 (3) GDPR, you can revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint pursuant to Article 77 GDPR in conjunction with. § 19 BDSG, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Hesse State Data Protection Authority.
