With this exhibition, Ambiente celebrates the 25th anniversary of its international Talents sponsorship programme, which has supported young designers on their way into the international design industry since 2001. Since then, numerous Talents have established their own studios and collections and today shape the design landscape far beyond Germany.
The exhibition brings together ten of these designers from the Rhine-Main region: Kai Linke, Jonathan Radetz, Julia Huisken, Jonas Nitsch, Antje Dienstbir, Martin Hirth, Betty Montarou, Astrid Spork, the design studio speziell® and Knut Völzke with his studio LEISE. The exhibits are complemented by personal statements on the guiding theme of the World Design Capital: Design for Democracy – Atmosphere for a Better Life.
Through the cooperation between Ambiente, the Museum Angewandte Kunst and World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026, Messe Frankfurt connects its international young talent programme with the regional design scene, creating a platform for exchange between designers, cultural institutions and the public.

Next trade fair dates
Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld will take place at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds at the end of January 2027. Once again, the Compass Talks will kick things off on the preceding day, 28 January 2027.
