structural + emotive displays a particularly material-oriented approach. Fragrant wood, paper with particular tactile properties and structured glass represent this theme in lifestyle that combines emotion and function harmoniously. The design process incorporates natural properties as a matter of course. The essence of each material is liberated by considered, careful design. structural + emotive shows us a tension between function and sculpture. Many objects are practical and user friendly, whilst retaining a sculptural quality.
