High-Borosilicate Glass Body
The jar body is made from premium high borosilicate glass, known for its excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and thermal shock. It withstands extreme temperatures from -40°C to 560°C, making the glass body (without lid) safe for use in the freezer, microwave, and dishwasher.
Its non-porous surface prevents odor absorption, staining, and flavor transfer—an essential feature for storing kimchi and other strong-smelling fermented foods. All materials comply with FDA food-contact standards and are manufactured under ISO 9001–certified quality management systems.
Upgraded Vacuum-Sealed Lid System (2nd Generation)
This second-generation kimchi jar features an improved vacuum-sealing lid, specifically engineered to better manage internal pressure created during fermentation. The upgraded valve structure provides more stable vacuum performance, helping reduce air exposure while allowing controlled pressure release when necessary.
