Quilling cards by Paladise GmbH
No other card in the world involves more handicraft!
Paper filigree cards are part of an old European tradition. Paper filigree, also known as ‘quilling’, is a craft in which paper strips are rolled onto a long, round object such as a needle or quill. The resulting paper spirals are then used to create artistic motifs.
The origins of this art go back to ancient Egypt, but it became more widespread in Europe and particularly in Italy during the Renaissance, when Italian monks used this technique to decorate religious images and Bible covers.
With Papierfiligran, you are choosing an artisanal product. Each card comes with a flyer explaining the work and our contribution to a social project.
