Metaltex items are sold in retail stores, department stores, hypermarkets, furniture stores and hardware stores in over 75 countries around the world. Our products can also be obtained by mail order and on the Internet.

• Kitchen utensils & gadgets

Kitchen accessories, cooking utensils, serving and baking accessories make up the largest range with over 1000 items. From basic needs to modern creations – we offer our customers a variety of products for every target group.

• Storage & oranization

A large selection of wire goods such as dish drainers, space savers, all-purpose trolleys and shelves offer space-saving storage solutions for the kitchen, bathroom and living room. A special USP for the “Made in Italy” product range is our 3 to 6 year guarantee, depending on the type of exclusive plastic coating, a specialty that only Metaltex offers.

• Laundry care

Our dedicated family of products for the care of clothes covers a large and continuously extending range of laundry driers, Made in Italy by Metaltex - with 3 or 5 years guarantee. Additionally a selection of ironing boards and accessories.

The international company for kitchen and household goods

The company was founded in Mendrisio, Switzerland, in 1945. Metaltex has its headquarter in Genestrerio and has always been a family business. After a short time, international expansion began with the construction of two new plants in Italy. In 1967 the first foreign branch opened in Mahlberg, Baden (Germany).

Today Metaltex is a global player with more than 100 commercial agencies in numerous countries. 20 distribution centers and 4 manufacturing centres in Switzerland, Italy and China guarantee the delivery of goods worldwide. Around 120,000 products leave our 4 production centres every day. At every step of conception, development and manufacturing, the highest demands are placed on the quality of the products which are constantly monitored.

To promote sales, optimal and high-turnover product ranges, individual concepts and impressive presentations are created at the POS in close cooperation with the customer.

Exclusive coatings from Metaltex

Polytherm®, very classic in silver metallic, and Polytherm® Copper in the trendy copper look are high-quality double coatings and, like the trendy black matt TouchTherm coating, offer high impact and scratch resistance with a 5-year guarantee. All three protective treatments are rust-resistant and easy to clean thanks to their antistatic properties.

The innovative Chrometherm® coating looks like chrome, but is far more ecological and 5 times more rust-resistant than conventional chrome plating. We offer a 6 year guarantee on all products with this environmentally friendly coating.

The Epotherm® coating was specially developed to withstand daily environmental influences as well as possible. It is particularly rust-proof, shock-proof and scratch-proof. Thanks to its antistatic properties, it is also dust and dirt repellent. The coating does not crack, flake or yellow – we give a 5-year guarantee on this.
