About us

Since 1951, La Briantina has been operating in the marketing of cleaning, hygiene and home care products. In the space of a few years, it has gone from a family business to an international enterprise, capable of seamlessly supplying a vast audience of customers, made up of both wholesalers and retailers, and the major players in large-scale organized distribution. The history of La Briantina began in the 1960s, the era of the economic boom destined to change the destiny of many business pioneers. In the hinterland between the Po and the Oglio, the Viadanese area had long boasted a solid tradition in the production of brooms and brushes. Giovanni had the intuition to export outside the borders of the town, first and then of the province, products made with great artisanal expertise: driving a Fiat 125, he covered kilometers and reached Brianza - the name of the company derives from that period - to sell simple cleaning and decorating tools, which were however highly appreciated for the quality of the materials and of the invoice. The turnover grew rapidly and, in the second half of the seventies, coincided with the beginning of the exploration of new markets and new sales methods, while the advent of large-scale retail trade loomed on the horizon. The Eighties were upon us and the ability to adapt quickly and with great flexibility to the needs of the market proved to be crucial for La Briantina. Giovanni and his sons, Emanuele and Mauro, decided to direct the sale of cleaning and hygiene products to wholesalers and large-scale distribution, focusing on the marketing of items made by a network of small businesses selected for the quality of their workmanship. Meanwhile, market targets were extended. The first trips to China coincided with the decision to broaden the supply base and to combine the experience of selling to wholesalers with the creation of a company brand. The research, on an international scale, and the marketing of new solutions for cleaning and hygiene quickly led La Briantina to strengthen its positioning in the large-scale retail trade circuit and in niche markets, such as professional cleaning and the beauty sector. In 2009 the company - offices, warehouses and showrooms - moved to the new headquarters, equipped with cutting-edge logistics spaces, designed for strategic inventory management, without interruption. Today La Briantina is ready to take on the challenges of the digital market, focusing on the qualities that have always characterized it: flexibility, adaptability, efficiency and desire to innovate. A strong attitude to modernity is in fact the distinctive characteristic of La Briantina which today presents itself as a company structured - in organization and logistics - to govern the demands of the Italian market and to incorporate those of the international market, with great ability to adapt
