The brand kywie® stands for innovative sheepskin wine coolers and was created by Saskia Nooij. Sheepskin is a beautiful, naturally lightweight material with excellent insulating properties. Saskia Nooij discovered that it is particularly suitable for cooling beverages—and the idea for kywie was born!

INSULATING EFFECT

The wool on the inside of the cylindrical kywie wooler creates a layer of trapped air. This keeps the bottle at the desired temperature for hours. Harold Hamersma, a Dutch wine journalist, tested the product extensively and confirmed that the temperature of a wine bottle in a kywie wooler rises by only about 0.5°C per hour!

Although kywie woolers may look warm, they actually keep your drinks cool!

NATURALLY SUSTAINABLE

The kywie wooler is made from 100% sheepskin and handcrafted entirely. A Dutch sheepskin producer was enthusiastic about the idea from the start and creates kywie coolers in camel, blue, and white colors using the pelts of the well-known "Texelaar" sheep breed. For other colors, pelts from other European breeds are used.
