We, BURGVOGEL Cutlery, are a family-owned cutlery manufacturer since 1949 and located in the blade city of Solingen.
Our company employs about 20 people. A large part of the production e.g. the grinding of the raw blades, the sharpening of the knives as well as the laser marking are automated. Other essential production steps, such as the regrinding of the handles, are carried out exclusively by hand. Our success is therefore based on this combination of traditional know-how and state-of-the-art technology.
The main focus of our production is the manufacturing of high quality cooking and household knives in different price categories:
For every cooking enthusiast, high-quality and sharp knives are indispensable in the kitchen. In the best case, they are also beautiful to look at.
The stainless, drop-forged chef's knife series Oliva Line and Juglans Line from the Burgvogel brand ensure a wonderfully sharp cutting experience with cleanly finished blades. In addition, both series convince with hand-friendly designed knife handles made of wood that allow fatigue-free cutting.
The handles of the Oliva Line are made of fine olive wood. Due to the always different grains of the individual handles, each knife is a small unicum.
In contrast to the light Oliva Line, the Juglans Line is made of fine, dark walnut wood.
Also forged are the Comfort line and Master line chef's knives. These are equipped with a POM plastic handle which makes them much easier to clean than knives with wooden handles.
The product range of each series includes about 30 different types of knives. From the 7 cm small paring knife to tomato knives and chef's knives to the 31 cm long bread knife, there is something for everyone.
In the lower price segment, but by no means inferior for that reason, there are various stamped knife series. For example, the 4000 series with easy-care plastic handle or the household knives with olive wood handle.
