This assortment is what it is. No more, no less. The name says it all: «purus.» means not only pure, but also simple, honest, unvarnished and natural.

The products are aimed at the «new» customer, who is not blinded by unnecessary «frippery» but appreciates the impudence of this assortment. A customer who cares about the environment. A customer who buys what he needs – not more, but also not less – that’s it.

Only renewable raw materials were used for this assortment. The handle is made of high-quality FSC®-certified Swiss beech wood and is equipped with bristles out of bio-based plastic. For «purus.», bio-based* means that the plastic is not derived from mineral oil but from castor oil.

Resource-saving design without sacrificing functionality

This quotation guided us in the development of «purus.», as even the most sustainable materials should not be wasted. In order to save natural resources, only the most essential materials are consciously used for this assortment. We have gone to our limits, because the two components of the brushes directly influence each other. The brush bodies are designed to be as narrow as possible but just wide enough to accommodate the optimum amount of bristles. More is not needed, but less is also not possible.

Whether purist or dynamic, each of the six different handle designs lies comfortably and ergonomically in the hand.

Thanks to an ingenious and stable click mechanism, the handles can be fitted with different brush heads especially for the respective application: soft bristles for glass and delicate pan coatings, hard bristles for stubborn dirt or brass bristles for the grill bars.

This makes these brush handles very flexible to use and furthermore also extremely durable, as only the part of the brush head is replaced, which also needs to be replaced after a certain amount of time and wear.

Not only the replaceable brush heads, but also the use of high-quality materials make this product a sustainable alternative to conventional dishwashing brushes: All brush heads are injection moulded from recycled plastic only. Recycled plastic can also be used for the material-saving 1-component handles.

Plastic is used sensibly and sparingly here.

Quality and sustainability for your grill

Who is not dreaming of it : Many sparkling clean steel bars shining at you, when you open the grill cover. A grill that looks like new. The new wooden grill brush from Ebnat makes this dream come true. We have set ourselves the goal of rethinking the optimal bristle pattern of a grill brush from scratch. The result is more than convincing.

A specially designed step cut ensures optimum cleaning performance. Angled, slightly longer tufts of bristles enclose the grill bars and achieve a higher degree of efficiency than conventional grill brushes.

Offset filament tufts ensure that the grill bars do not get between the filament rows and the bristles thus «clean into the void». The grill bars are thus in contact with the tips and not with the sides of the bristle tufts. This allows the highly abrasive properties of the brass to work their magic.

In addition, a stronger filament was chosen. This means that the brush can withstand even large forces during cleaning and the bristles are prevented from being pressed apart.
The stainless-steel scraper edge integrated into the handle is an additional practical cleaning feature.

Sustainability is a matter close to Ebnat‘s heart. Our grill brush is made of natural materials – FSC® certified beech wood, stainless steel, brass, goatskin – and is manufactured in Switzerland. The replaceable grill brush head also ensures the longevity of the quality product.

The brush body is made from responsibly selected post-consumer material that circulates in the recycling loop and at the same time ensures stability and durability. The sweeping set Palm combines timeless Ebnat design with a consistently sustainable material concept. The dustpan and hand sweeper are made from natural, renewable raw materials and are completely plastic-free. The focus here is on the intelligent use of materials - in line with the responsible use of resources.

The palm leaf dustpan is made from discarded palm leaf sheaths. No trees need to be felled and no plants need to be harvested. Despite its natural origin, the dustpan impresses with its usual stability and is suitable for both dry and damp dirt. The ergonomically shaped handle sits comfortably in the hand, while the flat edge enables optimum dirt pick-up - efficient and reliable in everyday use.

The Palm hand sweeper is the perfect complement to the dustpan. Its ergonomically shaped handle is made of FSC-certified Swiss beech wood. An integrated hanging hole ensures simple and space-saving storage. Like the blade body, the bristles are made from palm leaf fibres, making the hand sweeper completely plastic-free. Thanks to the material-saving design in the usual Ebnat style, it offers reliable cleaning performance despite the reduced use of materials.

This beautifully shaped dishwashing brush not only impresses with its dynamic design but also with its numerous inner values. This brush is really special, despite or perhaps because it is hollow.

„Gap“ is committed to sustainability from head to toe, yet still offers all the advantages of wet application:
It is a real lightweight. Compared to a conventional dishwashing brush, material savings of 30% wererealised. In addition, 95% of the already slim body is made of PCR-PP and the bristles are even made of 100% recycled plas tic (PIR).

Despite the low material usage, the ergonomic and voluminous handle with soft-touch surface fits perfectlyin the hand. Material was also saved by making the hanging hole significantly larger. Suitable for all conven -
tional hooks. Longevity also adds sustainability. The brush can be cleaned in the dishwasher for long-lasting hygiene.

A statement for environmental awareness in the modern kitchen

Loop was born out of our quest for ever more sustainable products, combined with the desire for a “state of the art design”. This innovative lifestyle dish brush is not only stylish, handy and efficient, but has also been thought through down tothe smallest detail in terms of sustainability. Three importantfeatures emphasise this:

Material-saving design
The handle consists only of a frame that encloses the brush head. The brush head itself is also kept minimalist thanks to the hole. Compared to our lightest interchangeable head dish brush to date, we have been able to reduce material consumption by around 50 %.

Recycling material
The brush head is made of 95 % post-consumer recycle polypropylene (PCR), while the bristles are made of 100 % post-industrial recycled polyester (PIR). In this way, we give plastic a second life.

Extended service life
The handle can be used again and again thanks to the interchangeable heads.

Loop can also score with other arguments. The distinctive, purist design comes with a practical, large hanging hole that is suitable for all standard hooks. To top it all off, Loop is of course Swiss Made.
