Tropical Fruits is a new collection of utilitarian and decorative pieces that carry on with the tropical 
and exotic theme already started in the Amazōnia line. Based on all the artistic and technical 
knowledge gathered by Bordallo Pinheiro over almost 140 years of work, the treatment given to each 
piece of fruit is absolutely accurate in terms of shapes, textures, and colours. Avocado, Passion Fruit, Sugar Fruit, Papaya, Pitaya, Coconut, and Kiwi are reproduced with all their vitality and together they create a light, relaxed and fresh environment.

Flora brings together a herbarium of plants and flowers, whose small but graceful insects are busy flitting around, paying tribute to the beautiful and delicate balance of ecosystems. A diverse range of plants, which include poppies, marigolds, dandelions, wild roses, mallows and hawthorn berries, decorate the surface of the pieces in high and low-reliefs that are full of detail, with soft country colours highlighted by the unique transparency of the brand’s glazes. Flora is a versatile collection which allows countless combinations, imprinting Bordallo’s DNA on any table: nature, liveness, imagination and joy.

The Meaning is a collection made up of pieces that demanded the utmost effort of the brand’s production - excellent modelling, demanding assembly of the elements of each piece, rigorous selection of colors, glazes and paints, as well as painstaking hand painting. In addition to the characteristic naturalism of the brand, present in the representation of fungi, lichens, moss and insects, Bordallo Pinheiro planted a mysterious aura in this secret garden. There are several decorative pieces, created by Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, where cabbage leaves, 
hampers with turnips and garlic, onions, seafood, and fish create a complex exploration of shapes 
and colours, demonstrating the full potential of the Fábrica de Faianças. 
Cabbage with Lobsters reproduce two emblematic elements of these compositions with functional 
pieces that bring Bordallo’s sculptural art to the table, always with a touch of humour which is central 
to the Bordallo ethos.
