The 2026 Bekking & Blitz Spring Collection: "Tulipfields" by Sietse Wiersma

As a farmer’s son, Sietse (1950) developed a great love for the rural environment in which he grew up. This is often reflected in his portfolio of realistic paintings. Landscapes or still-lifes, Sietse presents his themes in an
recognizable and quirky way. As a self-taught artist, Sietse was able to focus full-time on his artist life since the year of 1987. His typically Dutch work finds its way across many borders, from Asia to Middle East and North America.

Since 1982 Sietse lives and works in Oudkarspel in North Holland. His studio/gallery can be visited by appointment.

With the brand-new Wild Flower Field collection, Janneke transports you to colorful fields of wildflowers.

This new series captures the unspoiled beauty of nature and brings a touch of freshness and playfulness into your home.

Janneke is a specialist in botanical painting. She completed her biology studies at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam where she discovered her talent for drawing very precise and with much detail. She challenges herself to get flowers botanically correct on paper. Janneke is most famous for combining science and art in a harmonious way. She uses the watercolor technique because it is very suitable for displaying the bright colors of flowers and plants. With her work she wants to draw attention to the beauty and
fragility of nature.
