All was born in 1864 in Premana, a small village in the Italian Alps where iron has been worked for many centuries, exploiting the mines of the upper valley. The founder Ambrogio Sanelli, after building up experience as a blacksmith in Venice, began his production business here, forging different types of blade from the iron, these were initially destined just for the rural economy of the town itself and the surrounding area, but were soon distributed on the national market and international.
Since then, the tradition and working experience have been handed down from father to son and the company has grown within the context of the town, making a significant contribution to the birth of what has, over the years, developed into an important production area.
The constant research and the extreme passion for work keep the company in continuous evolution, up to the acquisition in 2015 of Montana, an historical cutlery brand since 1925, to even better pursue the main goal: manufacture reliable and high quality knives. Quality that is not born by chance, but has grown over the years with commitment, effort and time. A lot of time.
