By pressing the edge of the top surface, anywhere in 360 degrees, the light turns on/off with a soft and comfortable click feeling. brightness levels can be adjusted by repeatably pressing it.

Minimalist Design & Sustainability

The minimalist design is completed by the idea of hiding 4 AA batteries inside the cylinder. Avoiding built-in batteries is key to sustainability.

“ICHI” can be used over long years as there is no worry about battery life, unlike built-in batteries. For everyday use, use of rechargeable AA batteries can lead to more environmentally friendly.

“Easy disassembly design”. Take it anywhere you go

Designed with usability in mind, “ICHI” can be disassembled into 3 pieces just by screwing off the top and bottom parts. With a thickness of 20 mm, the disassembled table lamp can be put in your backpack or luggage safely. You can be with your favorite tool wherever you go!

The proprietary developed sliding handle, which is capable of being easily attached and detached just by one hand.

We have developed the handle that can be easily attached and detached simply by sliding top half of the handle lightly with your thumb.
Feelings of solid natural wood from Tendo City, Yamagata, and smooth and easy movement of slide mechanism is always pleasant to use. (Patent pending)

Uncoated thick iron plate brings out the best flavor of your food.

1.6mm thick mill scale steel plate allows ingredients to be cooked slowly and thoroughly even by low heat and it brings juicy texture of meat, crunchy texture of vegetables, and bread can be crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. You will be surprised how tasty your food can be!

The frying pan "JIU" is manufactured by the small-town factory in Osaka. Since its founding in 1951, the factory has been acquiring certain skills and knowledge by earnestly manufacturing iron frying pans. Only the environment of this family owned factory could make repeated trial and error to produce “JIU”.

As proprietary hardening and tempering process is applied to the iron frying pan during the manufacturing process, seasoning is not required. It is ready to use straight out of the box.

“JIU” is designed to look like the plate so that you can serve your dish directly to the dining table after you finish cooking. The food never cools down since there is no need for dishing up on the plate.
