Established in 1996, Eppicotispai is a company based in Ornavasso, a town near Maggiore Lake, in Northern Italy, at 100 Km from Milan, where there are concentrated the warehouse and headquarter.
Eppicotispai started its growth in 2000, by acquiring Gemini (an historical coffee and becoming a group. Nowadays Eppicotispai is lead manager of 4 companies, specialized in the production of stainless steel, aluminum and wooden articles and it carries out its distribution and sales. Eppicotispai exports more than 95% of the production out of Italy, in more than 60 countries in 4 continents.
Our mission is to promote kitchen tool and ideas related to Italian food tradition; we produce and sale quality household articles 100% made in Italy.
We are focus on quality and cutomer relationship; we check each product during all production phases in order to build trustable and long lasting business relationships.
The company holds 2 patented products and 3 brands, such as our FURBO patented lids and Gemini Express
Even some components that we buy are made in Italy by italian companies.Products raw materials are certified and comply with EU regulations for materials in contact with food.

FURBO® lids and FURBO Scolatutto®
FURBO® lids
Who has no problem with lids among us? We never know where to place them into the kitchen. They always cause confusion and take up much room. Now Eppicotispai has solved these problems. They have created and patented FURBO, a space-saving lid system. They are three flat lids suitable for any kind of pot. Moreover every FURBO lid can fit three different pot sizes. As a result ...you have all the lids you need in less than 2 cm of thickness!
But defining Furbo a space-saving lid system is not enough. In fact FURBO can also be used as dish warmer, trivet, tray and to turn over omelettes.
In Italian “Furbo” means smart. Let’s find out why people call it “Furbo”
- Because every Furbo is worth three! No more one lid for each pot size. In fact Furbo is fit for three different pot sizes (two on one size and one on the other size, by overturning it).
- Because you only need three FURBO lids for all your pots: from the little pot to the greatest pan!
- Because FURBO is space saving. The three FURBO lids take less than 2 cm of thickness! Therefore you can suit them easily into a drawer or on a shelf of the kitchen cabinets. FURBO® Scolatutto
With the same concept of FURBO® lids, Eppicotispai has created and patented FURBO SCOLATUTTO too, the new space-saving strainer, thinner than 1 cm! The strainer as well can be used for three different pot sizes, the most commonly used to boil (Ø 20-22-24 cm). It is also a lid (or better... three lids!) to be used when you have to let some steam go out.

The RAVIOLI & TORTELLINI starter set contains a beechwood cylindrical rolling pin, a ravioli maker (with 12 cavities 52x52 mm), 4 shapes of ravioli stamps (4x4, 7x7, Ø 8 and Ø 5,5 cm), a pastry wheel, a s/s pasta cutter 6x6 cm and the booklet “let’s make pasta together”.
These sets are targeted also to those people who want to make pasta, ravioli, etc ... for the first time.
In fact the real plus of these set is a booklet, entitled "Let's make pasta together", explaining in very simple words, but in details, how to make pasta, not so much to those who have the hobby of cooking, but especially to those who has never made it before.
The booklet gives suggestions for the choice of the type of flour, the doses and the advice for how to obtain a perfect dough and how to roll out the dough, how to make fettuccine, spaghetti, farfalle, garganelli, tortellini and ravioli.
This booklet was written in cooperation with chef Fabio Bongianni, owner of a restaurant in the centre of Rome, where he holds cooking classes for foreigners.

Your pizza baked like in pizzeria
Domestic ovens bake pizza in the upper part through their heat, but not perfectly the paste of the base which usually remains wet and not well cooked.
On the contrary Etnà absorbs the humidity from the base of the paste, cooking it evenly and making it crispy like with firebricks placed at the base of pizzeria ovens!
Etnà is a platter, created by lava flows of Etna, the still active largest Italian volcano located in the island of Sicily.
It is 100% natural and food safe. It does not produce smoke even cooking particularly fatty foods. It is a natural non-stick surface, so it is not necessary to use any oil or butter for cooking on it.
It can also be used for grilling any kind of meat, fish or vegetable.
