Promising relaxation amidst the hustle and bustle of the trade fair: the Infinity Café, created by the designer Brechtje Troost

Brechtje Troost has designed a cosy, low-stimulation atmosphere at the Infinity Café, where visitors can find moments of peace and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of the trade fair. In her works the Dutch interior designer and stylist combines functional Dutch design with the inspiration of Scandinavian lighting. Warm, pastel colours create a feeling of endless relaxation, peace and pleasure.

This makes the café one of the many features at the trade fair that are fully focused on the Netherlands. The central point of contact for the partner country programme will be the partner country presentation DO DUTCH at Galleria 1. The industrial designer Robert Bronwasser will be using consumer goods from the Netherlands, placing them in a new and surprising context and presenting them in a way that is minimalistic yet colourful.

The entire Monday of Ambiente, 12 February, will be dedicated fully to the partner country, with a variety of activities at the exhibitors’ stands and a range of celebrity guests of honour. Detailed information on all the activities will be provided in a special partner country brochure which can be picked up at the event.

After Denmark, France, Japan, the United States, Italy and the United Kingdom, the Netherlands is now the seventh partner country of this global leader among consumer goods trade fairs. Around 150 exhibitors are expected from the Netherlands, including well-known companies such as Big Green Egg, Dutchdeluxes, Eichholtz, Fatboy, Hakbijl Glass and Kikkerland.
