The city of Frankfurt has established a low emission zone for motor vehicles. Since January 1st, 2012, only vehicles with a green emissions sticker may enter the zone.

Vehicles from Germany and abroad that meet the emissions criteria may obtain the necessary sticker from the TÜV-SÜD (the official technical inspection agency).

Traffic

The city of Frankfurt’s low emission zone is located within the motorway ring formed by the A5 motorway to the west, the A3 to the south and the A661 to the east. Low emission vehicles displaying the appropriate sticker can drive to Messe Frankfurt at all times.

Vehicles without emissions stickers can also drive to Messe Frankfurt
